Police: $150,000 Jewelry Stolen From Lexington Business
Lexington Police are searching for two men who they said took thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from a downtown business.
Officers said two men walked into Shelia Bayes’ Fine Jewelry, which is in the Lexington Center, around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
According to police, the suspects then used a sledgehammer to smash open a display case.
Officers said the men grabbed around $150,000 worth of Rolex Watches.
Police said they then ran off and jumped in a getaway car on Vine Street.
Officers think the two men might live somewhere outside of Lexington.
They said no one was hurt.
