Police: 1 killed, 1 injured in home invasion
ELKTON, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police say they are investigating a home invasion in western Kentucky in which a 79-year-old Mennonite man was killed and his wife injured.
Police say they were called on Sunday to a residence in Todd County, where relatives had found Amos Yoder dead and his wife, Marjorie, seriously injured.
Police say an autopsy on Amos Yoder was being conducted on Monday in Louisville. Marjorie Yoder was taken to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Her condition wasn’t immediately available.
Kentucky State Police spokesman Stu Recke said investigators spent hours processing the scene.
No further information was immediately released.
