Plane makes emergency landing on Highway 555
BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) — At approximately 1:16, An aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on Highway 555 on Thursday, and KSP are on the scene.
The small plane sent a distress message, and landed about 15 miles east of Bardstown, says State Police. While it was an emergency landing, KSP says the pilot is unharmed and there were no injuries or damage to surrounding property.
State Police Trooper Jeff Gregory told WHAS that a wrecker has been called, so that the plane may be taken to the airport to investigate what went wrong.
