Plane makes emergency landing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — At approximately 3:15 p.m. at Blue Grass airport, a 4-seater airplane reportedly made an emergency landing.

Officials from Blue Grass Airport say the Danville plane "Mooney" arrived without a landing gear, wheels in the “up” position, and came to a rest on Runway 4.

The one person onboard was uninjured, authorities say, and Runway 4, “C” Taxiway is currently closed for investigation and cleanup.

BG Airport says they are currently towing the aircraft off the runway, and delays will end as soon as it’s clear.
