Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say a pizza delivery driver was robbed at knifepoint as he tried to make a delivery Sunday.

The Domino’s Pizza driver showed up to the address on Jennifer Road at around 12 a.m. and was getting out of his car when he says a man with a knife approached him and demanded money.

The driver complied and the suspect ran off.

Police say he was not injured.

Police brought in a K9 unit but could not get a track because it was raining and a high-traffic area.

They are now trying to determine if the driver was set up to be robbed.
