Pike County murder victim identified

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police has released the name of a person found dead Saturday in Pike County.

According to police, the body of 44-year-old Adrian Smith, of Cleveland, West Virginia, was discovered at a park in the South Williamson community around 8 p.m.

Police say Smith was shot.

Police say they expect to file charges in the case in the few days.
