Pike County man accused of stabbing his father

ELKHORN CITY, Ky. (WTVQ) – An Elkhorn City man is accused of stabbing his father during a fight, leaving his dad seriously injured, according to State Police.

Investigators say 31-year old Jonathan Belcher is accused of stabbing his father, Jerry Belcher, approximately seven times Sunday night.

Jerry Belcher was taken to Pikeville Medical Center with serious injuries, according to KSP.

Jonathan Belcher was arrested and charged with assault, according to State Police.
