Pig Roast to support Lawrenceburg Officer

LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – After Officer Kenny Goodlett of the Lawrenceburg Police Department was diagnosed with terminal cancer, his fellow officers and friends decided to host a pig roast to help raise money in an attempt to offset his medical expenses.

Officer Goodlett has made a career of helping people, fellow officers say, and could now use a hand in return.

The fundraising event will be hosted on Saturday at 6 p.m.,  at Eddie Carey’s new building, located on US 127 at the corner of Gilbert’s Creek Road.

Admission is free, officials say, and will feature singing by Courtney Milam.
