Physical therapy firm locates headquarters in Ky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A private equity company that runs physical therapy services will locate its headquarters in Louisville.

A statement from Gov. Steve Beshear says Confluent Health LLC’s home office in eastern Jefferson County will create up to 25 new jobs. The 2,700-square-foot headquarters will be located in the East Point Business Park.

Confluent Health recently acquired controlling interests in 14 companies, which employ a combined 350 people in Texas and North Carolina.

The company will also have a majority interest in ProRehab Louisville, a physical therapy provider in Louisville. Plans are underway for the first two clinics, which are set to open in St. Matthews and Fern Creek early next year. Both will provide physical therapy and workers’ compensation services.
