Person of interest in custody after shots fired at vehicle in Georgetown
SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Georgetown Police say a person of interest is in custody after a car was struck by gunfire Sunday on Tanbark Drive near Timberland Drive.
According to investigators, the shooting damaged a vehicle, but no injuries have been reported. Police took one person into custody Sunday night as part of the ongoing investigation.
Officers are asking anyone who lives in the area and may have surveillance footage or information related to the incident to contact Georgetown Police.
