Richmond woman killed in fatal Berea crash identified

BEREA, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The victim in a fatal crash that occurred Wednesday morning in Berea has been identified as 27-year-old Victoria McQueary of Richmond, according to the Madison County Coroner’s Office.

The crash happened at the intersection of Richmond Road and the Berea Bypass, prompting a full closure of the area as emergency crews responded. The Berea Police Department initially announced the closure in a social media post, asking drivers to avoid the area. The intersection has since reopened.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
