Person injured after fall at Lexington rock quarry
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One person was taken to the hospital after a fall at a rock quarry Wednesday morning.
According to the Lexington Fire Department, firefighters were called to Vulcan Materials Company on Manchester Street around 2:00 a.m.
Firefighters say when they arrived on the scene, the person who was injured was brought out to the ambulance.
The injuries were not life-threatening, according to firefighters.
They also say it’s not clear if the person worked at the quarry.
