Person hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after rollover crash on Russell Cave Road in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a late-night crash Tuesday in Lexington.

According to the Lexington Police Department, a single vehicle flipped near Northwind Road along Russell Cave Road around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say the roadway was shut down for several hours while crews responded to the scene.

Police say the department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
