Perry County school evacuated over bomb threat

PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Students at Perry County Central High School were evacuated Friday morning due to a bomb threat.

Perry County Schools said in a Facebook post that the students waited in warm buses while police inspected the building.

Police searched the building and determined there was no threat.

Students were allowed back into the building around 10 a.m.

The school says they were given warm biscuits as they came back in.
