Perry County road closed indefinitely due to weather damage
PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-Even though, the focus this weekend is on the snow and the cold, more rain could be a problem for several areas still trying to recover from flooding last week.
In Perry County, for example, the transportation cabinet says KY 3351 has been closed indefinitely at Ary because the pavement is broken.
The cabinet says flash flooding only made it worse and cabinet engineers have deemed unsafe.
There’s no timetable yet for repairs, but the cabinet says there is a detour available through 476 and 80 for the about 150 vehicles that use the section of highway every day.
