Perry County deputies recover stolen guns, jewelry, and vehicle in Ary burglary investigation
PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A burglary investigation is underway in Perry County after thousands of dollars in guns and jewelry were stolen—along with the victim’s vehicle.
Deputies say it happened Saturday afternoon in the Ball Creek area of Ary. The suspect allegedly broke in through a back door, taking multiple firearms, a jewelry box worth approximately $4,000, and the victim’s car.
Thanks to OnStar technology, deputies were able to track the stolen vehicle to Raccoon Creek Road. After executing a search warrant, they recovered the vehicle and the stolen items.
Deputies say they have identified a suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
