Pedestrian killed in McCreary Co. crash.

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a Pine Knot man died after a crash on US HWY 27 in McCreary Co.

Troopers say it happened Tuesday evening around 10:20 p.m near mile marker 7.  According to officers, a woman driving a 2001 Dodge pick-up was traveling southbound when she his Bobby S. Stephens, 37, as he was walking near the center-line of the highway.

Stephens was pronounced dead at the scene by the McCreary Co. Coroner.

Officers are continuing their investigation.  No word at this time on why Stephens was in the road.
