Pedestrian killed after fatal collision in Johnson Co.

 PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in a wheelchair.

Troopers say it happened on KY Route 321, when 68-year-old Corvin Salyer’s wheelchair traveled into the path of an oncoming vehicle.

Salyer was taken to the Paul B. Hall Medical Center where he was pronounced dead by the Johnson Co. Coroner.

No word on the condition of the driver of the vehicle.
