Pedestrian hit on I-75 in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Northbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Madison County, Ky. are shut down as officials investigate a pedestrian being hit near mile marker 90.

According to police, the pedestrian was struck after trying to cross the busy highway.

Police are now re-routing traffic off the ramp on exit 90 of I-75.

Police say the interstate will open soon.
