Pedestrian hit and killed in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a man was killed late Friday night after being hit by a pickup truck while crossing Nicholasville Road at Moore Drive.

The man, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police closed one lane of outbound Nicholasville Road from Moore Drive during the investigation.
