Pedestrian Hit By Car Near UK Campus

Lexington Police said a man, wearing dark clothes, crossed against the light and was hit by a car near the University of Kentucky campus.

Investigators said it happened around 8:40 p.m. on Monday on Limestone Street near Montmullin Street.

Police said the man’s head hit the windshield of the car.

He was taken to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators.

Police did not release his name.

Investigators said the driver who hit the man would not be charged.

Police said the pedestrian was at-fault.
