Pedestrian dies after hit-and-run on W New Circle Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Lexington Police Department says one person has died following a hit-and-run on W New Circle Road.

Officials say they received a call at 8:42 p.m. about a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on the 400 block of W New Circle Road.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where they later died from their injuries.

Police say they do not currently have any information on a suspect.
