Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle on New Circle Road, coroner reports

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW via LEX NEWS) — The Fayette County Coroner’s Office reports that a pedestrian has died from their injuries sustained in a crash on Saturday on New Circle Road.

According to the coroner’s office, 55-year-old Robert Baker died days after being hit by a vehicle at Russell Cave Road.

The coroner’s office says that Baker suffered blunt trauma injuries and died at UK Medical Center.

Lexington police are investigating the crash.
