PD: Woman with gun robbed Lexington Sleep Inn

It happened Tuesday night at Sleep Inn on Plaudit Place near Hamburg. Officers say a woman with a gun walked in and demanded money. Police say she took the cash, then left out the back door.

Investigators say they’re looking for connections to another robbery that happened earlier in the day in Lexington. Police say just before 3:00, a woman with a bandana over her face robbed Comfort Inn on Buena Vista Road. Officers say she handed the clerk a note, then held up pepper spray. Police believe that after she grabbed the cash, she got away in a car that was waiting for her.
