PD: Wanted OH Fugitive Arrested In Somerset
According to the Somerset Police Department, Derrick Michael Keeton, 29, was taken into custody last Sunday.
In a Facebook post, police said a tip led them to an apartment on Park Avenue.
According to officers, Keeton was inside and tried to run from them.
Police said he jumped from a second story window and injured his legs.
The department said it would charge Keeton with fleeing or evading police, possession of a controlled substance first degree (heroin), possession of marijuana, and being a fugitive from justice.
According to investigators in Somerset, he was wanted on a Clark County, Ohio indictment for intimidation, intimidation of a witness, and conspiracy.
Somerset police said that after Keeton’s charges in Pulaski Circuit Court were adjudicated, he would be extradited to Ohio to face charges there.
