PD: Man used flower pot to try to rob Lexington bank
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Lexington police say they’re trying to find the man who tried to rob People’s Exchange Bank on Richmond Road.
Police say they were dispatched to the bank around 1 p.m. They say witnesses told officers the suspect had thrown a flower pot at the doors, after employees refused to let him in.
Police say the suspect was last seen running off. Investigators say he was a slender man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and a black bandana over his face.
