PD: Heroin, meth, pills & cash found in Richmond home

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say they found heroin, meth, pills, cash and drug paraphernalia while searching a home in Richmond.

Police say 33-year-old Ella M. Cain and 40-year-old Chad McCallister were arrested yesterday at their house on Francis Street. Investigators say RPD Bike Patrol officers had executed a search warrant there. According to police, officers found several drugs, including about 50 grams of heroin, methamphetamine, a Suboxone strip, oxycodone, gabapentin, a large number of syringes, straws, spoons and some cash.

Police say McCallister and Cain are facing several charges, including trafficking in a controlled substance and wanton endangerment. According to investigators, three juveniles were living in the home. Police say the children are now in the care of a relative.
