Pat Kelsey comes home to his high school alma mater in Cincinnati
The new Louisville men's basketball head coach is a 1993 graduate of Elder High School
CINCINNATI, OH (WTVQ)- New Louisville head men’s basketball coach and Cincinnati native, Pat Kelsey, is the keynote speaker for Elder High School’s annual Sports Stag event.
On Friday April 19 in Cincinnati, Kelsey returned to the school and met with other alumni as well as current students who interviewed him for Elder News Network’s sports broadcast.
Kelsey played one season for Elder in 1993 when he helped the team win the Ohio Division One state title. He also played college basketball in Cincinnati with the Xavier Musketeers for three seasons starting in 1994.
ABC 36 Sports Director, Jeff Piecoro, has known Kelsey since his high school basketball playing days and caught up with him before the event.
