Parents accused of trying to sell newborn twins to appear in court

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two parents accused of trying to sell their newborn twins are set to appear in Jackson County District court today (4/01).

Zackary Davis and Jacquilyn Keith are scheduled to step before a judge for a preliminary hearing.

Davis and Keith were arrested last month after allegedly offering to sell their baby twins to Davis’ sister-in-law for $5000.

ABC36 NewsNow interviewed the couple in the Detention Center last month, where they both claimed they were set up by Davis’ sister-in-law, who, they say was trying to convince them to sell the twins.

Davis and Keith are charged with promoting human trafficking with a victim under 18.

They are being held in the Jackson County Detention Center.
