Paramedic Recovering After Weekend Crash in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY — A paramedic is recovering after being injured in a crash over the weekend. According to the sheriff’s office, Paramedic Lieutenant Will Bishop was airlifted to U.K. Hospital on Saturday following a collision while returning from an emergency call.

The Laurel County Ambulance Service reported that Bishop was “banged up and bruised but nothing was broken.” He has since been released from the hospital and is now recovering at home.
