Owsley County woman’s death ruled homicide

OWSLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Owsley County Coroner’s Office says an elderly woman found dead in her home last week was killed.

The body of 82-year-old Olzie Bowling was discovered on July 18 at the home on Winklers Branch Road.

The coroner says there was no sign of a break-in or a struggle.

The coroner would not comment on how Bowling was killed.

There are no suspects in the case but the coroner says people are being interviewed.
