Lexington family searching for missing dog June; video shows she was picked up

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A Lexington family is asking for the community’s help in finding their missing dog, June.

According to the family, June disappeared on September 23 and was last seen near the Nicholasville Road exit on New Circle Road. Newly released video shows her being picked up around 1:56 p.m. by someone driving a white or silver SUV, possibly a Jeep Liberty.

Her owners believe she may have been taken in safely, but they are especially concerned because June has newborn puppies who need her care.

If you recognize the vehicle or know someone with a new dog matching June’s description, you’re asked to call 202-355-5346 or contact Lexington Police.
