UPDATE: KSP find and arrest man accused of rape in Bath Co.

BATH COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Kentucky State Police have arrested Corey Bumby in Bath County.

OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Owingsville Police Department is telling people to be on the lookout for a violence offender who is on the run.

Several agencies are currently searching for Cory Bumby, according to Owingsville Police.

Police say Bumby is wanted for rape, sodomy and unlawful imprisonment of a child.

He was last seen fleeing from police in the Ridge Road area and is believed to be heading toward Highway 60 west.

Bumby is 6’1, 180 lbs with red hair and was last seen wearing a black hat, gray shirt, and khaki pants.
