Overnight fire in Nicholasville destroys mobile home

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — Firefighters battled an overnight mobile home fire in Nicholasville, which destroyed the home.

Crews say they responded to the fire around 3 a.m.

They say two adults and two teenagers were home at the time.

According to firefighters, the fire started in a young boy’s room, who was not home at the time.

They say the fire completely destroyed half of the structure, but everyone made it out safely.

They said there were no smoke detectors in the home.
