Overnight fire damages Lexington home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that heavily damaged a home on Greenwood Avenue in Lexington overnight. Firefighters say the fire started around 3:30 a.m. in the back of the house, eventually spreading three floors to the attic and back to the front of the home.

Investigators say no one was home at the time of the fire.

No injuries were reported.
