Operation Bikemas aims to prepare bikes for Christmas giving

Volunteers will clean and repair 150-200 bikes for community distribution

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Today, Operation Secret Santa is hosting its annual Operation Bikemas event, working to prepare 150 to 200 bikes for community members this Christmas season.

The event, held from 4 to 9 p.m., will include two volunteer opportunities: cleaning bikes from 4 to 6 p.m. and repairing them from 6 to 9 p.m. to ensure they’re ready for gifting.

Attendees can enjoy food from Bourbon & Toulouse and drinks from Ethereal Brewing while helping with the effort.
