One Word Stops Gas Station Robbery

A convenience store was almost robbed last night in Lexington – but one word stopped the crime.

Police said a man walked into a Speedway on North Broadway around 11 p.m. They said he implied he had a weapon and demanded money.

According to police, workers told him, “no.” So the man left, empty handed.

Police are still looking for him.
