One teen killed in Wayne County crash
WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash that killed a teenager and injured two others Sunday morning in Wayne County.
According to KSP, the crash happened just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of West KY-90 and KY-1547. Investigators say 19-year-old Seth Bolen pulled into the path of a semi-truck while driving on KY-1547.
Both Seth Bolen and his passenger, 18-year-old Elijah Bolen, were ejected from the vehicle. The Wayne County Coroner pronounced Elijah Bolen dead at the scene.
State police say Seth Bolen was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the semi-truck, identified as 34-year-old Demario Adams, was also airlifted to UK Hospital but has since been released.
The crash remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
