One sent to hospital after truck collides with tractor in Cumberland Co.

LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a collision that happened last Thursday at about 7:45 p.m. near the 21 mile marker on KY 90 in Cumberland County.

Troopers say 27-year-old Jerry Parris was headed eastbound in his Ford F150, when he passed another eastbound vehicle, re-entered the lane, and rear-ended an eastbound New Holland tractor pulling a hay roller.

Investigators say Parris was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.  24-year-old Rachel York, a passenger in the truck, was airlifted to University of Kentucky Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the tractor was not injured.
