One person with life-threatening injuries after Versailles Rd. crash
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — We’re following developing news in Lexington, where two people are in the hospital after a crash involving a car and a semi-truck.
Police report that the accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Monday night. The crash led to the shutdown of Versailles Road near Rice Road for several hours, with lanes still closed early this morning.
Officers say two people from the car were taken to the hospital, with one of the victims suffering life-threatening injuries. The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident.
