One person taken to hospital after a crash in Somerset

SOMERSET, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Pulaski County on Friday morning.

According to the Somerset Fire Department, crews responded to the scene of the crash on Slate Branch Road near West Highway 914 earlier in the day. When they got there, officials found two trucks involved in the collision.

Authorities say one person refused medical treatment at the scene but was later taken to the hospital by a private vehicle. No other injuries were reported.
