One person killed in crash in Magoffin County

MAGOFFIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A crash in Magoffin County has left one person dead.

The single-car accident happened around 6 a.m. Monday.

According to police, 45-year-old Joe Allen, of Middle Fork, was driving south on Craft Creek near Salyersville when he failed to make a turn, left the roadway and went over an embankment.

Troopers say Allen was unresponsive when they arrived at the scene.
