One person killed in collision in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – One person was killed Sunday in a two-vehicle collision in Clay County, which led to the temporary closure of a stretch of North Highway 421, according to the sheriff.

The victim’s name wasn’t immediately released.

The highway was closed between a Burger King and the county high school.  Accident reconstruction specialists were investigating the cause of the deadly accident.
