UPDATE: Martin County fire victim identified

LOVELY, Ky. (WTVQ) – An elderly woman was found dead following a house fire Monday morning in Martin County.

The coroner identified the victim as 70-year old Cathy Alene Runyon.  An autopsy is scheduled Tuesday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort to determine a cause and manner of death.

State Police say Runyon was found dead inside a home on KY 292 in the Huntleyville community around 9:00 a.m.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, according to KSP.
