One person airlifted after crash in Owingsville

OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – An accident left one person injured in Owingsville on Wednesday.

Police say the two-vehicle crash happened just before 2 p.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 64 at the 128 mile marker.

The roadway was shut down as a Life Flight helicopter was brought in to fly one person to the University of Kentucky hospital.

There is no word on the extent of the person’s injuries.
