One man dead after car crash in Jessamine County

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Jessamine County sheriff’s office responded to its first deadly car crash of the year.

Sheriff’s deputies say it happened on Union Mill Road just before 1:30 in the morning.

They say a man driving a Nissan Sentra was going inbound four miles from Nicholasville when he lost control, flipped off the road several times, and eventually hit a telephone pole.

The driver was taken to UK hospital where the sheriff’s office says the Fayette County Coroner pronounced him dead.
