One Lexington recognized at Heroes Day at Keeneland
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Keeneland celebrated Heroes Day on Sunday with a special tribute to those making a difference in the community. Among the honorees was One Lexington, recognized for its role in helping reduce gun violence in the city by 60 percent over the past three years.
The program partners with community organizations, schools, and local leaders to create a safer Lexington and expand opportunities for youth and families.
Devine Carama, director of One Lexington, thanked Mayor Linda Gorton during the event, acknowledging their continued collaboration to build a stronger and safer community.
