One injured in Lexington shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say one person was shot on Mount Tabor Road in Lexington around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to the Lexington Police Department, the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe the suspect and the victim had a prior relationship and this incident started with a dispute.

The Lexington Police Department says its still gathering evidence and talking with witnesses.
