One injured in Lexington mobile home fire, dog rescued

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – One person was taken to the hospital after a mobile home fire Friday morning in Lexington, according to Battalion Chief Derek Roberts with the Lexington Fire Department.

Crews were sent to Dalray Street just before 8:30 a.m. for a reported structure fire. When firefighters arrived, the incident was upgraded to a working fire inside a single-wide mobile home.

Roberts said there was significant fire damage throughout the trailer. One patient was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and a dog was rescued from the home. The dog is stable.
