One Injured In Heavy Equipment Accident In Anderson County

On Thursday afternoon, the volunteers of the Anderson County Fire Department responded to a heavy equipment accident in the 1400 block of Alton Station Road. A dump truck rolled while it’s trailer was being loaded. The truck snapped a utility pole snapping that carried electricity further complicating the scene. One person was injured and was transported to the hospital by the Anderson County EMS. Fire units from three stations responded and traffic was impacted for several hours. The Anderson Sheriffs office responded as well.
